Studying in Israel between high school and college is a great way to prepare for college and for Jewish life on campus. A "gap year" - the chance to do something exciting and different between high school and college - has long been common in England. This idea is becoming increasingly popular in North America and especially in the Jewish community. Many Jewish high school graduates now spend the year after high school studying in Israel.

The Conservative Yeshiva accepts Pre-College Students through the Yeshiva Track of the NATIV Program of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. During your year in Israel you will be exposed to an exciting new peer group, the richness of Israel, and a stimulating Yeshiva learning experience completely different from high school. You will go on to college ready to serve as a knowledgeable Jewish leader on campus and in your community.

As a student in the Nativ Yeshiva Track, you will attend Talmud, Halacha, and Tanach classes with the regular Conservative Yeshiva students, and have special classes in Philosophy, Conservative Judaism, Zionism and Modern Israel, and Midrash.

In the Nativ Yeshiva Track students participate in specially designed classes and in regular CY courses, all in the format of CY Learning. All courses are taught by the CY's outstanding faculty.

High school students interested in the Yeshiva Track of NATIV should contact NATIV.
