We have heard from you and many participants on congregational missions to Israel of the need for more creative programming –imbued with spiritual energy and passion that can inspire your community’s daily life once the mission returns home. To this end, I am delighted to share with you and your congregations an exciting new opportunity that the United Synagogue’s Fuchsberg Center in Jerusalem has developed with our creative colleagues at Kol Ha’Ot.

Kol HaOt: Illuminating Jewish Life Through Art, is a dynamic new Jerusalem-based venture led by David Moss, Rabbi Matthew Berkowitz, Elyssa Moss Rabinowitz and Yair Medina. Through a creative synthesis of the visual, performing and culinary arts, Kol HaOt seeks to teach Jewish text, values, history and ethics in transformative and memorable new ways. We believe that the programs of Kol HaOt at the Fuchsberg Center will add a dynamic and powerful dimension to your program and engage your congregants in new and unique ways. Our goal in offering this exciting opportunity at the Fuchsberg Center is to help your congregation meet and exceed the spiritual goals of your Israel mission.

Most programs will last 90 to 120 minutes and will engage participants in a creative way using various media in the arts. A full description of the various options is listed on the enclosed menu. Normally, Kol Ha’Ot offers these engaging programs at a cost of $1000 per group. Through our special arrangement this program is available to your United Synagogue congregational groups for only $600. Having tasted some of the programs, I can assure you that each of them will provide value-added and transform your congregation’s Israel mission.
