Friday Morning Trips

This summer, the United Synagogue Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center sponsored a series of Friday morning tiyulim for summer visitors as well as locals including participants from the Conservative Yeshiva summer program, Project Oded students and USCJ members visiting Israel on their own.

The trips included walking tours of the area around the Center which is rich in history, as well as other sites in and around Jerusalem. Participants explored the ancient City of David, the Temple Sifting Site Project, the 2nd Temple model at the Israel Museum and some First Temple excavations.

All led by well known personalities & experts in their field.

how to sift through the dirt and what to look for at the Temple Sifting Site.

Sifting can be a fun family activity.
