The Conservative Yeshiva
Rabbi Daniel Goldfarb, Director

The Conservative Yeshiva has just finished two of our largest and most successful summer programs ever. We welcomed over 150 students from 10 different countries around the world to our campus in the heart of Jerusalem.

in a Hebrew Ulpan discussion.

The Conservative Yeshiva is now gearing up to welcome our year students who will be arriving in Jerusalem over the course of the next few weeks to learn Torah at the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Campus. In addition to our Torah Lishma year program, we are also proud to announce several special projects for this year:

Online Learning. The Conservative Yeshiva will be offering four online learning courses—two beginning this September and two additional courses in the spring. The registration for the fall courses is open now - please e-mail Rabbi Gail Diamond at yeshiva@uscj.org for more information.

Elul Program. During the month of Elul, the Conservative Yeshiva will be hosting JTS rabbinic students in addition to our regular student body for a special month of learning. We are still accepting applications for the Elul program as well as general study at Conservative Yeshiva.

Discover Jerusalem. The Conservative Yeshiva is thrilled to announce a new semester long study abroad program for college students. This unique program, which is run in conjunction with Hadassah Academic College, offers a learning experience that includes religious text study combined with historical and cultural courses about Jerusalem. Please visit www.JerusalemSemester.org for more details.

Legacy Heritage Europe. With special thanks to the Legacy Heritage Foundation for their continued and generous support, the Conservative Yeshiva is excited to kick off our new Legacy Heritage Program for Jewish communal workers from European countries. A specially chosen group of Jewish adults, active in their local Jewish communities, will receive special grants to study at the Conservative Yeshiva in our Torah Lishma program in order to develop and strengthen skills and knowledge to take back with them to their local Jewish communities.
The Conservative Yeshiva faculty and staff would like to wish all of you a wonderful, sweet and healthy new year! We hope to see you soon in Jerusalem.
