The Conservative Yeshiva
Rabbi Daniel Goldfarb, Director

The Conservative Yeshiva at the beautiful Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center of the USCJ is completing its thirteenth Torah l'Shma year program. It's been a wonderful year with students from the US, Canada, England, and Australia. The CY is looking to an exciting summer with over 100 persons coming from North America and Europe to study Hebrew in intensive Ulpan and take a variety of text classes. The Summer Program also includes 50 recipients of scholarships from the Legacy Heritage Foundation to enable people active in various non-clergy positions in the Jewish community to have the opportunity to study Jewish text in Jerusalem. This enriches them as Jews individually as well as their work in the Jewish community, be it as administrators in synagogues, schools, federations and JCCs or in their work with young people in youth groups and on college campuses.

The Yeshiva is expecting a full complement of students for the Torah l'Shma year program starting in September, including eight students from Europe funded by a grant from the Legacy Heritage Foundation specifically to help create a Jewishly educated leadership core for the Jewish communities in Europe which are in such need of knowledgeable and committed leadership.

Places are still open for the Year Program. For information, including possibilities for financial aid, contact Yeshiva@uscj.org
