The Arba Kanfot Center on Campus program

Rabbi Ed Romm, Director of Education
& Campus programs

Our Campus outreach program stood up to the challenge of offering quality enrichment programs during the fall semester for overseas students studying at Israeli universities.

A Pre High Holydays Shabbaton took place at Kibbutz Hannaton, the Conservative/Masorti kibbutz in the Galil. On the way up we visited the Druz community of Dalyat Al Carmel for a cross cultural experience. Students were so enamored with the Kibbutz that they chose to return there for the November Shabbaton.

Students enjoyed Shabbat Dinners, holiday celebrations, and of course home Hospitality throughout the semester.

Our Learning Community Hevruta matched up undergraduate overseas students with JTS and Ziegler rabbinical students and Conservative Yeshiva students for hevruta study every Wednesday evening at Beit Hillel at the Hebrew University. We brought campus programs to Tel Aviv University as well.

If you know of students, spending the year or semester in Israel, be sure to let Rabbi Romm know.

The Center on Campus is an affiliate of KOACH College Outreach and is grateful for it's support as well as the support from USY'S Tikun Olam Fund and the Jewish Agency For Israel.
